Bhanu
Sharma.
Founder, builder & occasional photographer.
Three decades of products — at Adobe, Macromedia, Sony, and a handful of startups; a couple got acquired. Today I'm founder & CEO of Maker, which lets you make anything for your website with AI. Photos on the side.

Maker.co
Make anything for your website, with AI.
Maker lets people create anything for their websites with AI — pages, sections, campaigns, and updates that feel native to the site they already have. Day job, decade-long bet, still my favorite product to ship.
Agents & fun
projects with AI.
In the evenings and on weekends I tinker — building agents, small experiments with the new generation of models, and the occasional tool I needed and couldn't find. Mostly to keep up with what's changing.
Mentoring founders.
On the side, at 500 Startups and with a handful of seed-stage companies I particularly care about. Mostly listening.

The longer version.

I grew up in India and now live in Cascais, Portugal, after two decades building products in California.
I co-founded Wanadu in 2000 — early web conferencing, before that was a category anyone could name. Latitude bought it, then Cisco bought Latitude.
Product roles followed: Macromedia, shipping Breeze (which became Adobe Acrobat Connect after the Adobe acquisition); Adobe as EIR; Skyfire as Director of Product (acquired by Opera); Sony Mobile as VP of frontier products. In 2012 I started Maker — still my main thing, fourteen years in.
"Most of what I make I don't talk about. This site is the small visible end of a much longer practice."
I studied at Stanford in 2011. I've mentored at 500 Startups since 2009. On the side I make photos — mostly with a Sony RX1 and iPhone, increasingly with AI.
